Hey y'all! You may or may not know who I am, so here's some information about me!
About Me
I was born and raised in Vanceboro, NC by my wonderful parents Rev. John and Nancy Coward.
I was raised in church and accepted Jesus as my savior at 15 years old. It was the best decision I've ever made! I've failed Him along the way, but He has never failed me!
From a young age I've loved music! My parents taught me to play the piano, bass guitar and to sing harmony. I also play guitar, ukulele, and a few others (but not very well).
I wrote my first song at 15.
I went to East Carolina University where I majored in Elementary Education.
I worked in childcare for 19 years, most of those being in Pre-School.
I have a fur baby (dog) named Ellie May.
I've attended the Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church under Pastor Kenneth Dixon, since I was 16 years old.
My Music
In 2019 the Lord made a way for me to record my first studio album, Trust Him Either Way. I was so grateful for the opportunity to share the songs He had given me with the world!
My latest album, Praise and Press On, was released June 25th 2021.
My first national radio single was Mender Of Broken Things which reached #31 on Christian Voice Magazines Southern Gospel charts!
In 2022 I was nominated for and won Horizon Female for the Christian Voice Magazine's Fan Awards! Such an honor!
After working part time for a few years, I went full time at GoMix Christian Radio in Snow Hill NC, January 2025.
Exciting news!!! My new album is almost READY! If all goes well, it will be released this summer!
